- ROOF GARDENS OF GRAZ (2019 – 2020)
The project at the Institute of Housing Research evaluated the potential for roof gardens in multi-story residential buildings in the Graz urban area. Based on this survey, further considerations can be derived regarding possible support measures to strengthen the greening of Graz’ roof landscape.
- WOHNBAU.DIALOG STEIERMARK (since 2019)
This initiative at the Institute of Housing Research sees itself as a regional contact point and communication platform on the topic of housing. It initiates a permanent learning and communication process between the various actors and promotes a sustainable development of housing in Styria.
- MoVe iT (since 2019)
MoVe iT (Mobility and Transport in Transformation) is a non-partisan campaign of associations, companies, and citizens, which is committed to a socially just and ecologically sustainable mobility system in the greater Graz area. The goal is to establish a mobility system in Graz by 2030 in which the negative effects of traffic on health, environment and climate are reduced to a minimum.
- Active Democracy (since 2019)
The Association for the Promotion of Active Democracy aims to strengthen the awareness of democracy through political education as well as by expanding the existing, predominantly representative democracy by promoting direct and participatory democracy instruments at the municipal, state and federal level. Among other things, it organises the citizens' conventions in Graz.
SMART & EDIBLE (2018 - 2020)
The project was carried out at the Institute for Multilevel Governance and Development of the Vienna University of Economics and Business. It analysed actors, processes, and experiences of initiatives for an "edible city" in Austria and selected EU countries.
